Mr. John Best has a B. degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso. He later attended the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and finished a Master of Science degree in Oceanography prior to joining the United States Army where he served for three years as an officer with the Army Corps of Engineers. He also has been a certified SIOR for almost 30 years, becoming one of the earliest brokers on getting such certification.
He joined Citius Capital in 2013 as a partner and senior broker, aiding in the attraction of new business in the border of Mexico and Texas. Although his major real estate responsibility is centered in Juarez, Chihuahua, he is also active in monitoring the activity of the markets of El Paso, Laredo and McAllen.
He is one of the founding members of the Border Trade Alliance, which is the most active private non-profit organization uniting business in the United States and Mexico, and recently in Canada.
